The Gods that inhabit my landscapes are spiritual beings, aware of their connection with universal energy, they are awake. Entities of light, they play with it, and float among the stars. They defy the laws of gravity, they appear as if in a dream, or deep meditation, astral travel traveling in a psychedelic or Shamanic experience. They are there to show us something. Something that is worth pointing out no matter how irrelevant it may seem.
My first motivation to paint is existentialist, it is a personal search for the meaning of life. I work with a magical intention because I believe that each artistic manifestation leaves an imprint on the universe and produces changes, by materializing our dreams we are influencing the great collective mind.
My paintings do not have a simple understanding, they can produce pleasure and in turn, awaken complex sensations, that is why I try to be very precise when I work, not so much in terms of technique but in the balance of energies.
I have always had a great fascination for the universe, for everything that is revealed or hides, it is a great source of inspiration for me. The cosmos is our home but at the same time the great enigma, we are part of it, but strangely we consider ourselves autonomous and separate. I am interested in finding that invisible connection that exists between us and this great universal organism, that is why I think meditation is very important and is present in my creative process.
