Mark Ryden “The Gay Nineties West”

Kohn Gallery announces the inaugural exhibition of its new, expansive 12,000-square foot space: new work by Los Angeles-based, Pop-Surrealist artist Mark Ryden. Mark Ryden, The Gay 90s: West will be on view at the new Kohn Gallery, 1227 N. Highland Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90038, from May 3 through June 28, 2014.

New Synthesis – Neil M. Perry

New Synthesis is a body of work  by Neil M. Perry slated to debut at Portland’s Antler Gallery on April 24th in a two man show titled Entwined,  (also featuring the wonderful work of Josh Keyes).

Of this new work the artist states: “Each of the paintings in this series depicts human relationships via a combination of animal association and color psychology.

Roxanna Walitzki

Roxanna Walitzki is changing the opera world by continually testing the bounds of traditional opera and art-song performance. Roxanna is currently working on an art-song recording and video collaboration with Seattle’s Toy-Box Trio and Wolfram Productions. The project will reinterpret Schubert’s famed song “Erlkönig” in an exciting video format.
